The Canadian golf season is spectacular, but brief. Close out the season with a celebratory tournament that welcomes golfers of all levels to an award winning 18-hole course designed by legendary architect Stanley Thompson.
The first annual Jasper Fall Classic not only offers stunning mountain vistas and lakeside fairways (made even more spectacular by the colours of a Rocky Mountain autumn), but will also mark a resurgence of a tradition that dates back to Jasper’s early days as a railroad town. Every fall from 1926 to 1991, Jasper’s week-long Totem Pole Golf Tournament capped off the golf season (American actor, singer and regular guest at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, Bing Crosby won in 1948 — the hotel’s Crosby Cabin is named in his honour). The new Fall Classic will continue the tradition with a tournament that is conveniently timed for when people are at the top of their game.
We’re reviving a long heritage of fall golf in Jasper, in addition to a truly world-class golf experience, we have an outstanding itinerary and great gifts and prizes. We’re looking forward to putting on a spectacular event.

The Jasper Fall Classic will span two days with delicious breakfast served daily, and a private BBQ dinner served at Trefoil Lake on Friday night. A welcome gift is included, and prizes will be awarded for multiple flights. Fairmont packages that include two nights accommodation start from $649 CAD per person, while non members can participate in the 36-hole tournament for $399.
The tournament will be stroke play and flighted based upon handicap with winners in both gross and net scoring categories. Ladies will compete in their own division. All participating players need to have a valid RCGA handicap.
This iconic golf course offers elevated tee boxes, dramatic bunkering and holes aligned with distant mountain vistas — it has been rated Canada's #1 Golf Resort for the past 20 years by SCOREGolf Magazine. It closes for the season on Thanksgiving
