Of all the fun things to do during Jasper’s renowned winter festival, these are the ones that you should definitely add to your calendar. From drool-worthy comfort food to iconic Canadian activities to deals that your post-holiday wallet will love, here’s some absolute must-do's at Jasper in January, happening across three weekends from January 14 to 30.

First weekend: Jan 14-16

Muchie's Animal Adventures

Take the family out for some snowy fun with Marmot Basin's mascot! Visit each of Munchie the Marmot's animal friends on the map and remember the secret word on each animal sign. Street Party + Fireworks - cancelled

Pond Hockey Tournament

  • The Jasper Pond Hockey Challenge will bring the coveted Canadian Pond Hockey game to one of the most scenic venues in Canada, on Mildred Lake. This Pond Hockey tournament in Jasper National Park offers a hockey experience you’re sure to remember. 20 plus teams will compete in a 4 on 4 Pond hockey tournament with a minimum of 4 and maximum of 8 players. After hours of skiing (or other outdoor adventure) nothing feels better than warming up and refueling at a local watering hole to rehash the day's highlights and unwind.
