We get to see a lot of shared images of Jasper, and we have to say: we are constantly astounded by the photographic talent we see from both locals and visitors alike. So we highlight a few of our favourites every month on our website. To have your photos considered, share them on Instagram and include the hashtags #venturebeyond and #myjasper or tag @tourismjasper.

Here are our top picks from August:

A cruel person would say this photo symbolizes the sun setting on summer. Don't be that person. Don't do that to us.

Although the prime time for wildflowers has passed, there's still some beauties in the upper alpine! Just remember: if you spot some, always leave it for the next person to appreciate. Many alpine flowers are so delicate that they never recover if picked.

There's many stunning perspectives of the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge but this one across Lac Beauvert, with northern lights above, has got to be one of the best.

Did you know that Jasper is super dog friendly??

So Canadian. So gangly.

(PS: Moose may look silly but they can do a lot of damage if they feel threatened! Maintain 30 meters of distance from them if you spot one.)
