Loud in the Pines is an Edmonton-based indie-folk music duo composed of musicians Kelin Flanagan and Spencer Taubner. Their songs are authentic, lyrical, and warm, featuring shifting harmonies and sparkling guitar arrangements that draw on years of diverse musical experiences. With full hearts and clear voices, they guide listeners through wild landscapes to find heartfelt moments of connection. Bitter Bright, their 2023 debut EP, is an emotional exploration of a complicated relationship brought to life in cinematic, bluegrass-influenced layers. Loud in the Pines is currently working on their first full-length album for release in 2025.
