On select dates for Jasper in January, our astronomy staff experts will spotlight some of the most amazing galaxies in the heavens as part of our Planetarium & Telescope Experience combo.
For this our 8th annual Festival of Galaxies, we’ll be highlighting quasars: the most distant objects in the observable universe.
From the stunning spiral arms of the Whirlpool Galaxy to the massive core of the Andromeda Galaxy (home to 1 trillion suns), to active galactic nuclei at the edge of time, you’ll have the chance to see these ‘cities of stars’ at their best.. all through the most powerful telescopes in the Rockies.
Planetarium Experience:

Telescope and Planetarium Combo Tour:
