2 SkyTram Star Sessions
Blast off with astronomy experts from the Jasper Planetarium for an exclusive dining and stargazing experience atop Whistlers Mountain. Available only on Fridays and Saturdays in October, as well as on Oct. 20th during the Dark Sky Festival.
3 Thanksgiving

4 Train tours
Combine a classic sightseeing excursion with a scenic tour along the train tracks that helped make Jasper what it is. SunDog Tour Co.'s train journeys are a unique and beautiful way to see some of the best views throughout the park.
5 Wildlife watching
With autumn comes a wildlife event that is both fascinating to watch and dangerous if you get too close. Throughout the park, male elk enter into a phase of the year called "the rut" when they begin to fight with other males for dominance. During this period, the animals are extra aggressive and unpredictable and people should be sure to keep extra distance from them. For safety, we recommend going with one of the excellent wildlife tours.
