Jasper's April Photos of the Month

There are many perks to being in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Amazing photography is one of them.

We get to see a lot of shared images of Jasper, and we have to say: we are constantly astounded by the photographic talent we see from both locals and visitors alike. So we've started highlighting a few of our favourites every month on our website (see March here!). To have your photos considered, share them on Instagram and include the hashtags #venturebeyond and #myjasper or tag @tourismjasper.

Here are our top picks from April:

Open skies, sparking scenery, who could ask for more? One of the great things about springtime in the mountains is that you still get the beauty of snow at the peaks, but with warmer temperatures.

If you're a fan of Jasper, you might already know that we've made our feelings about spring skiing perfectly clear. And with Marmot's season closing soon (May 6), there's no time to waste.

Jasper is known for its wildlife, and this photo from Eric Batty shows that the reputation is apt. Nice shot Eric!

Pyramid Island is iconic, regardless of season. So are fun and funky mountain sweaters.

Someone get us a mug of hot chocolate and some change-of-address forms because we are officially never leaving this spot.
