With its stunning view of the Jasper townsite and the Victoria, Colin and Maligne mountain ranges, the Jasper SkyTram is a must-do for any visitor to Jasper National Park. The seven minute ride up Whistlers mountain brings visitors to the Upper Station at an altitude of 2,263 metres.

Although experiencing the longest and highest guided aerial tramway in Canada is reason enough to buy a ticket, being able to enjoy a meal in the window-lined Summit Restaurant makes it even more special. And if you reserve your flights online between 8 a.m. - 9 a.m. or between 5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m., you can enjoy a free breakfast or free burger (respectively) at the scenic eatery.

Using fresh ingredients sourced locally whenever possible (including sprouts grown hydroponically in Jasper and hamburger beef from Edmonton), the meals are a great way to bookend a day. If you opt for the free breakfast, you can choose between a sandwich, wrap or skillet (you also get to choose from the following proteins: bacon, sausage, tofu or chorizo*). The evening burger also has a vegetarian option, and can incorporate additional culinary preferences for an added fee.

As you enjoy your free meal, gaze out at glacially fed lakes, rivers and of course the mountains, which are extra spectacular in the morning and/or evening light. Review the fascinating things you learned from the informative flight attendant who pointed out landmarks on your ride up the mountain. And once you’ve left your seat, consider taking the short hike along the path to the tippy top of Whistlers Mountain.

This free breakfast/burger promotion is available until September 3, 2018 and is available with Advance Online Bookings Only.

*The breakfast sandwich doesn’t include the chorizo option
