Make bedtime resistance a thing of the past by wearing the kids out with cross-country skis and/or snowshoes. Rentals (or purchasing options) are available in Jasper, and there are tons of trail options perfect for all skill and endurance levels throughout the park.
If you prefer that downhill thrill and are willing to get up early to grab a spot in the parking lot (or have the flexibility to go mid-week) then Marmot Basin ski resort will not disappoint.
In the winter, Jasper's glacier-fed lakes become beautiful frozen canvases that are just waiting for you to skate on. Lace up at either Pyramid Lake for Lake Mildred groomed ice and nearby amenities, including rentals.
