As the self-proclaimed Cabin Capital of Canada, Jasper has tons of cabins to rent, but most of them aren’t open through the winter. 4 Marmot Basin opening

Skiers and snowboarders rejoice! Marmot Basin ski resort's reopening for the season is scheduled for Nov 9. To save all season long, buy an Escape card to save 50% off regular price Adult, Senior, Student and Youth lift tickets every day, all season, with no blackout dates. Marmot Basin is also a part of the Mountain Collective Pass, which includes a group of 25 dream destinations.

5 Veterans Appreciation Event

Every November 11, the community of Jasper (and the rest of the country) remembers the sacrifices made by veterans in service to their country. This year, our small mountain town is expanding this special period of remembrance. From November 2–12, Jasper is inviting veterans, their families, and everyone else to take part in the Veterans Appreciation Event. Created to show support for our military veterans, Vet Fest will include events, activities, and dining throughout town, with many deals and discounts.
