Experience the breathtaking vistas of the Canadian Rockies with a resident photographer, Jeff Lewis, who has lived and played in the Canadian Rockies since 2004.
Autumn in the Rockies can be a special time of year. If timed right, we can spend our days photographing little known canyons with bright blue glacial water and groves of Aspen trees in their brightest of fall color, followed by beautiful sunsets and possible starry nights.
On these tours we get up early for sunrise, chase the light all over the park or possibly into Banff National Park or the Kootenay Plains if the weather takes us there. We return to Jasper each night and during the mid-day hours we can spend some time processing images, unless of course the light is good!
On this tour we dive a little deeper into Jasper National Park and spend a little more time exploring areas that are further away from town. On this trip we may visit Maligne Lake or drive down the Icefields Parkway towards the Athabasca Glacier, allowing for stops along the way or on the way back.
