Now in its seventh year, Jasper Artist Guides “BUZZ” is a multi-media community exhibit celebrating the extraordinary work of Jasper’s visual artists. JAG members and non-members alike come together at this popular, themed group exhibition to share their work and gain exposure. This year's theme is Creative Fire.
Join us at a spirited public art show as we explore the transformative power of the Jasper Wildfire. Local and guest artists will acknowledge the destructive potential of fire while honoring the sensitivity of those affected. Through creative expression, we aim to support the healing and grieving processes of many, believing that new memories will be created as we shape a new future for the arts in Jasper. Our responsibility as artists is to interpret important events in transformational ways. We invite you to be part of this topical and therapeutic journey, as we rebuild and reshape our homes, studios, and support groups.
The BUZZ’s key objective is to stimulate membership growth for JAG and help the organization to realize its mission of promoting awareness of the visual fine arts in Jasper. The BUZZ is also known for providing cultural enjoyment and art education opportunities to residents and visitors alike.
