Warm Winter Treats to Keep you Toasty all Season Long

‘Tis the season for decadent desserts and boozy coffees

We’ve got the lowdown on some of the most delicious ways to warm up after a long day of outdoor adventuring in Jasper.

Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria

Italy is famous for its pizza, pasta and of course – it’s abundance of Nutella.

Inspired by the pizza making traditions of Naples Italy, Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria creates some of the most mouthwatering Italian inspired cuisine in Jasper. Share a treat with that special someone and try the Nutella Pizza, folded calzone-style, baked and topped with whipped cream. The Dolce & Banana is another favorite, made with caramelized, oven roasted bananas coated in brown sugar, crushed pecans, caramel sauce and vanilla bean gelato. A dessert a day keeps the doctor away, right?

If you still haven’t gotten enough Nutella, order up a hot Peppermint Nutella Mocha made with steamed milk, peppermint schnapps, whipped cream and chocolate drizzle.

Evil Dave's Grill

With an extensive list of original cocktails, Evil Dave’s Grill has the art of mixology mastered. Sit back, relax, and let the bartender make you a Northern Lights or a Karma Police (yes, the cocktails have equally unique names!) Take a peek at their drink list here.

If you want a sweet and elegant energy booster, order a Star Gazer! It’s a scoop of ice cream in a martini glass with 1 ounce of Sortilege and a shot of espresso.

Jasper Brewing Company

A beer or two at the Jasper Brewing Company is definitely a great way to end an action packed day outdoors, but if you’re looking for a little sweetness, the brew pub also offers some delectable warm desserts!

Craving something with a taste of home? Go with the Apple and Cherry Crisp made with vanilla bean ice cream and rye whiskey sauce. We also suggest trying the Soy Chai Crème Brulee made with cinnamon sugar crust – your taste-buds will thank you.

The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge

Aside from being one of the most beautiful places in Jasper to sit and relax, The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is also a fantastic place to indulge in a special treat.

The Emerald Lounge, located next to the main lobby of the hotel, offers a number of specialty coffees and desserts on their new winter menu that will surely make you feel that holiday warmth.

Give the Rocky Mountain Ice Cream Sundae or the Warm Sticky Toffee Pudding a try to satisfy your sweet tooth. If you’re looking more for a liquid delicacy, take a sip of Fairmont’s own Beauvert Coffee with Canadian maple whiskey.

Tip: If you happen to be at the Fairmont during Christmas in November, take advantage of all the self-serve hot chocolate stations (and be sure to load your drink up with sprinkles, whipped cream and chocolate shavings!)

Have we got your mouth watering yet? Good!
