6 Ways to Celebrate Family Day in Jasper National Park

Nothing brings a family together like adventure

Jasper, Canada’s base of adventure, welcomes you and your family to venture beyond the average vacation. From novice to extreme and everything in between, there are plenty of thrilling activities and discoveries to be had for even the smallest explorers.

Running from February 17-19th, the family day long weekend is the perfect opportunity for some fantastic February family adventures in Jasper National Park! Here are 5 ways to take advantage and make the most of the long weekend:

Let the family adventures begin!

1. Ski or Board at Marmot Basin

Grab your equipment and head out to Marmot Basin ski resort for the weekend!

Marmot has some fantastic deals, including the Marmot Escape Card! For $75, the Marmot Escape Card provides card holders with half price lift tickets all season long. Are you already the proud owner of an Escape Card? Junior full day lift tickets are 20% off for card owner’s children!

6. Test out some fancy new skis

Edge Control is offering the chance to ski on current models of Head skis: Kore, Monster, Supershape and the Joy line-up of women's specific skis. This event is happening at Marmot Basin on Feb. 17 and 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and although the skis are free to test, you'll need a credit card for security.
