Jasper’s Heritage Rodeo combines the best of western heritage and culture with the outstanding spirit of welcome. Out of the 60 professional rodeos on the Western Canada schedule, Jasper remains at the forefront of rodeo promotion and education. Every performance provides an opportunity for first time spectators to experience the thrill of rodeo rough stock and timed events, as well as the ever popular Local Pack Horse Race. It doesn’t get more real than dirt flying and Broncos bucking in an indoor space that doesn’t have a bad seat.

Tuesday, August 16

5:00 pm: Mountain Park Lodges’ “Rodeo Kick Off”, Family BBQ/Dance Jasper Park Riding Stables

Wednesday, August 17

10:00 am: Children’s Stick Pony Parade. Starts at Jasper Activity Centre
11:00 am – 2:00 pm: Rodeo BBQ in the Parking lot across from CIBC. Proceeds to the Jasper Girls Hockey Team
7:00 pm: Indoor Pro Rodeo Performance at Jasper Activity Centre

Thursday, August 18

11:00 am – 2:00 pm: Rodeo BBQ in the Parking lot across from CIBC. Proceeds to the Jasper Girls Hockey Team
7:00 pm: Indoor Pro Rodeo Performance at Jasper Activity Centre “Heritage Night”

Friday, August 19

9:00 am – 11:00 am: Fireman’s Pancake Breakfast at the Fire Hall parking Lot. Proceeds to the U of A Hospital Burn Unit
12:00 pm – 2:00 pm: ATCO Lil’ Britches Rodeo Corral at the Jasper Activity Centre
7:00 pm: Indoor Pro Rodeo Performance at Jasper Activity Centre. “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” night. Wear Pink to the rodeo in aid of the local cancer support group.
9:00 pm – 1:00 am: Rodeo Dance and Beer Garden at the Jasper Activity Centre. NEW for 2011 Country music artist Jerry Sereda and DJ “Tommy K”
