Jasper in January: Canadian Rockies Snow Battle
J in J Snow Battle
In 2012, we were proud to announce the inaugural Yukigassen: Canadian Rockies Snow Battle! It was a major success, teams from all over the region gathered to compete for the chance to be named the first ever champions of the Canadian Rockies Snow Battle. The first place team won a chance to play in the National Championships! The dates for the 2013 Jasper in January festival are January 11 - 22!

Each team of seven battles the opposing team with 90 snowballs per period attempting to eliminate the opposing team with the snowballs or capturing their flag. All snowballs are made to specific standards in the machines provided so the game is fair and safe. Please see RULES for a complete set of rules and regulations in Canada.
