Stutfield Glacier
A tongue of the massive Columbia Icefield, the Stutfield Glacier pours over 900 vertical meters (3000 ft.) of cliff face, forming a picturesque set of double icefalls visible from a roadside viewpoint.
The Sunwapta River braids its way through several channels across the broad, gravel flats below. Stutfield Glacier is located 95 km (59.3 mi) south of Jasper and 135 km (84.3 mi) north of Lake Louise.
