Mule Deer & White-tailed Deer

White Tail deer and Mule deer are common along the Jasper roadways, and are often seen feeding side by side along Maligne valley roadways in spring and fall. Over winter, their antlers drop off, becoming a valuable source of minerals for small mammals. Look for them at dawn and dusk along Snaring Road and the Henry House flats during the winter.
