International Space Station at Jasper Dark Sky Festival
This weekend, during the Jasper Dark Sky Festival, there are plenty of exciting events, and even some when you look up!
Oct 21 – International Space Station (ISS) will pass over Jasper, bright enough to see, between:
- 7:43 pm – 7:48 pm (may or may not be dark enough to see it) and
- 9:19 pm – 9:21 pm (probably dark enough to see) about 10-30 degrees above the Southern horizon
Oct 22 – (ISS) will pass over Jasper, bright enough to see:
- from 8:20 pm – 8:24 pm about 10-50 degrees above the Southern horizon Oct 23 – (ISS) will pass over Jasper, bright enough to see:
- between 7:22 pm – 7:28 pm (may or may not be dark enough to see it) about 10-40 degrees above the Western horizon
- and 8:57 pm – 9:00 pm (easily visible) about 10-40 degrees above the Western horizon
